Rabbits and their sense of humor

Some people may find it ridiculous, but rabbits have a sense of humor just like humans. One time while my little niece was coming over for a special dinner, she quickly noticed my pet rabbit, Qupie. Even though Qupie has been sick for the past week, she came to notice the toddler and started trying to get her attention. Qupie attempted rollovers and kicks and as the toddler came closer to its cage, she bursts into laughter. I guess Qupie sensed her laughter and continued doing more tricks to make her laugh even more! In response to the child's laughter, the rabbit reacted.

Let's keep in mind that all rabbits have different personality traits, some rabbits may not like the company of children. In some particular cases, some rabbits may be scared of children invading their territory. As a rabbit owner myself, I noticed rabbits are cunning and can pranks on humans sometimes. They love the company of people, by initiating games with them, they love the attention. It has been scientifically proven if you spend time playing with your rabbit, it helps increase the well being of the rabbit psychologically. Rabbits are more engaging with other people and sociable in general.
